This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") explains our data protection policy and describes the types of information we may process when you access and/or use the Pixby mobile application and the Pixby Studio website at pixby-dashboard.web.app (together with all related services, hereinafter, the "App").
When we refer to personal data (or personal information) we mean any information of any kind relating to a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to such data. It is a natural person who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social status.
Our Privacy Policy applies to all users and others who access the App ("Users").

There are several categories of information that may be processed when you access and/or use the App.
We may collect, store and process some information about you when you use contact forms or support features available in the App. In particular, if you decide to make a request or send feedback, the following categories of information are voluntarily provided by you: your name, email address, and the text of your message. We use these services to collect, store and process the information that you provide us for the purpose of considering and responding to your requests.
To use the Pixby Studio website you create an account. Authentication is handled through Google Firebase Authentication using either an email address and password or Google sign-in. When you register we process your email address and, where you use Google sign-in, the basic profile information Google provides (such as your name and email). We use this information to create and secure your account, associate your credit balance and purchases with you, and provide customer support.
When you use the generation tools, you submit prompts and may upload images or videos, and the App produces AI-generated output. On the website, your uploaded inputs are processed to fulfil your request, and your generated output is stored in your account (your gallery) so that you can access it across sessions, until you delete it or your account. You can delete generated content from your gallery, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data as described in Section IX. Uploaded source images and videos are transmitted to our AI processing provider (PiAPI) solely to perform the generation you request; face data specifically is handled as described in Section III.
When you access and/or use the App, some information about your device and your user behavior may be processed automatically. This information is generally non-personal, i.e. it does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual, and we may access it only in aggregated form. We process this information on the ground of our legitimate interest in improving our App and giving our users the best experience.
We use third-party automatic data processing technologies to analyze certain information sent by your device via our App (analytics or advertising tools). Some of them may launch automated processing of your personal data, including profiling, which means any form of automated processing of personal data used to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to you.
When you use a device (smartphone, tablet, or computer) to access our App, some details about your device are reported, including "device identifiers." Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored on or associated with your device, which uniquely identify your device.
What data can be processed:
When you access and/or use the App, cookies and similar technologies may be used (pixels, web beacons, scripts). A cookie is a text file containing small amounts of information which is downloaded to your device when you access the App. We use this aggregated information to understand and optimize how our App is used, improve our marketing efforts, and provide content and features that are of interest to you.
Log file information is automatically reported each time you make a request to access the App. When you use our App, analytics tools automatically record certain log file information, including time and date when you start and stop using the App, and how you interact with the App.
When you use the Face Swap or Video Face Swap features in our App, we temporarily process facial landmark data to perform the face swapping operation you request. This section explains how face data (the facial landmark information used to perform the swap) is collected, used, shared, and retained. Note that this section concerns transient facial landmark data only; the final generated image or video you create is your generated content and is handled as described in Section II ("Content You Submit and Generate").

We work in the cross-border area and provide our App to users around the world. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data processing that may differ from U.S. law, please note that we may transfer information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that may not have the same data protection laws as in your home jurisdiction. By using the App, you agree that we may transfer your personal data to any third country or jurisdiction.
For the purposes of data storage, we use cloud services. We take your privacy seriously and encrypt your personal data before sending it to service providers for the purposes of its storage. We cooperate only with those service providers that have passed our security and reliability check.
In particular, we use Google Firebase and other cloud service providers that have adopted technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized/unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction or other damage.
We will generally keep your personal information for as long as we need it for a lawful purpose: to perform the contract between you and us and to comply with our legal obligations. If you no longer want us to use your information, you can request that we erase it.
However, some data may still be stored for a certain time period (but no longer than the storage purpose requires) with a purpose of compliance with certain legal obligations such as taxation, accounting, and audit.

Unfortunately, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We do our best to protect your personal data, nevertheless, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. The Pixby Studio website is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, and you must be 18 or older to create an account or make a purchase on the website.
The Pixby mobile application is made available in accordance with the applicable app store age ratings. Where a user is a minor, a parent or guardian must consent to and supervise the minor's use of the App.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner inconsistent with the above. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without the required consent, we will erase that information as quickly as possible.
